Fun to ride. Quick acceleration, good power on inclines but slight drop in speed. Unlike some other scooters, the battery drain is consistent and does not fluctuate after using the first 2 bars. The app displays battery percentage remaining which is helpful.Brakes are responsive. Front and rear and electronic brakes feel secure. Front shocks help reduce road vibration though the ride is not as smooth as pneumatic tires. Still a comfy ride.Single button is easy to use and simple to navigate. I wish there was a memory function on the scooter or a one-touch โfavorite settingsโ feature on the app. It only takes a few seconds manual enter my settings but a one-touch or memory feature would be nice. The aluminum body feels solid and the stem is a square tube which feels more secure than the cylindrical ones when locking in place. Wheel spokes are too small to slip my kryptonite chain lock through so I lock it through the front shocks and engage the wheel lock on the app.My only real gripe is the battery life. Great for short I get about 9 miles on slightly hilly (5ยฐ-10ยฐ) urban terrain at max speed. The 25 mile range is probably only on flat roads and at the lowest speed.

This is a really well-made little machine. Rides great even on dirt & grass. The speeds and range are as advertised. The headlight is very bright, like a car headlight, so riding at night doesn’t seem sketchy. The clear cover over the LED display was knocked off both scooters at some time during shipping, and the little tabs which secure them seemed broken, as it would not just clip back on, so I used some clear silicone to secure them both. My only complaint is the APP, which is a bit lame. My wife’s fairly new Galaxy phone will not run the app without it shutting down, even after uninstalling & reinstalling, restarting the phone, etc. My iPhone runs it well, but it doesn’t track mileage unless running the app while riding. It also does not have any route tracking. Other than that, we are quite happy with the 2 we bought.

This scooter is amazing. So sturdy. I want to give it 5 stars but there are some things that drive me crazy. The display cover keeps falling off. It annoys me but not enough to return the scooter. The back wheel squeaked non stop. Wd40 fixed that. The most annoying part is they said 25 to 30 miles on a charge. I went 8 and was at 28 percent. No hills. I’m 235 so a little bigger than average but it should go further than 11 miles (estimate). Maybe I got a lemon idk. Mine is the k5. The k3 is my wife’s and she loves it. Only issue with that one is the back fender rattles. But never the less I love this scooter.

I’ve had the KS5 scooter for about a month and like everything about it. It seems well made, rides smoothly, and feels durable. I’m really not using the app anymore and find that the onboard controls work perfectly. I thought about getting the Pro model, but this one performs very well for my needs. 18 MPH is plenty fast, and any faster would really be pushing the safety factor. I haven’t really had a need to test the range, but I can tell that it has to be at least as advertised. One note of caution, keep BOTH hands on the handlebars at all times, and keep your eyes on the road surface to avoid any major ruts and unexpected bumps. I was a little overconfident, got the front wheel sideways, and suffered my first scraped knee in about six decades! The fault was all mine, not the scooter’s.

It came in about 4 days. Unboxing it was very simple. I only had to put the top part of the handle bard on. It’s speed is great. It does around 22mph and I’m about 200lbs. The build is good. The only complaint I have is where you fold the scooter up seems to be a little of a weak spot. It does get me up hills but if they are steep I have to get off. As far as the battery life it doesn’t go the 37 miles they say it will go but it definitely last longer than most other scooters in this class.

This is my second scooter and I have to say for the price, it’s a pretty darn good scooter. I mainly decided to get this because of the price and because of the dual shocks in the front. Living here in Boston, the streets are rough as heck and I mean literately. There’s pot holes, cracks, deep holes, I mean it’s a mess everywhere; oh and trolley tracks everywhere, at least where I am. So I needed something that can take the beating and keep on going and this beauty sure can do that. It goes up hill pretty good, if it’s a big incline maybe more than 15 or 20ish, it will make it but not very fast might need a couple of kicks to help it out. The last thing I will say is for people that have roads aren’t so smooth, watch out for your rear fender and your handlebar. As for your handlebar , just make sure you’re checking them at least twice a month based on daily distance and how often you ride. I need a rear fender replacement and I contacted Yadea Customer Service and they were very quick to reply back and very polite. One of the agents named Dye, was super helpful, responsive and polite and is sending me a rear fender replacement and I can’t wait to get it! Thanks Yadea!

Overall this scooter is absolutely perfect for a short commute somewhere close. I use it for traveling on my college campus since my classes are very far from my dorm. I had bought my scooter in June of 2021. Around November, the scooter began not holding a charge. I waited till the school season was over to fix the problem. I had looked into their warranty and noticed they give a free year warranty when purchased. I contacted the customer support and they responded within a day or so. Dye from the customer support was a big help. They asked me all the right questions and offered many solutions. When the solutions provided didnโt work, I was sent a replacement scooter. I highly recommend this scooter for anyone looking for a way around their local college campus with ease. If something goes wrong with the scooter within a year of owning, just contact customer support and theyโll help you out with no trouble at all! If you get Dye as your customer service representative, youโll be happy to know youโre in good hands!
