Bought two and replaced the original 6v gearbox and added the other one to make it 2 wheel drive. Converted the ride on to run 18 v makita drill batteries. Motors run great as I only have 18 volts going to 24 volt motors. Motors didn’t seem to get hot after an hour of use which was nice. Plenty of power and speed. My 3 and 4 year old rode in the toy at same time and it handled awesome. I did the bicycle tire tread around the wheels and this performed well on concrete and grass. For the price of these motors and the output I got from them I would highly recommend for converting older slow ride ons.

About the 24 V Dewalt conversion and I didnโt move more than 2 inches before I heard a snap in the gearbox. Went on Amazon read a bunch of reviews this is the one I went with that has been working great with no issues. If youโre upgrading your power wheel and are having gear issues this one helped me

I saw some reviews saying the gears came stripped. Wasn’t the case with mine. The gearing on this makes the car slower than the 6v motor/gear set, but the 18v battery was over heating the 6v motor. This setup is definitely bearable. My kid is having tons of fun. Hopefully it lasts!

doesn’t hold up to even 18v

A lot cheaper than buying another Power Wheel.

These are poor quality, the first one which did get replaced under the 30 return policy melted the shaft after barely 15 minutes of running. This second one which is 36 days old already broke the gear after light use. Wish somebody made a metal gear box I would certainly buy that.

Worked well at 12v, but about 10 minutes after adding the second battery in line the gears on one stripped out and the other just blew fire and smoke. The guts internal on the motor portion seem to have blown to pieces. I can probably piece the remaining parts into a single working motor and order another but…not really impressed.
