I just opened the package containing this wiring harness and was extremely disappointed in it. Wire size appears to be severely under sized. No wonder people are complaining about problems with this product. Luckily all I really need is the control box and remote. Factory wiring harness has a heavier guage wire than this harness does and its only for a 12volt system. I am going to use some of the switches for other things. If I did decide to use this harness, the first thing I would do is totally rewire it with heavier guage wire. I will up data on progress in a day or two.

I was a little skeptical of this at first because my car is a smart drive, but everything on the smart drive still worked other than battery life on the display. All in all was easy to install the remote works. Great product and would recommend to anyone

For those complaining of the wire gauge being to thin, this is designed for a 24v system so the higher voltage will result in less current going through the wire compared to a 12v system. The amount of current needed determines the wire gauge and this should be fine.

I bought this setup to rewire a 6V VW bus ride on. now the bus has a craftsman 20V max battery for power X (2) 12V 40,000rpm motors and this wiring setup. The little bus cooks now. My 5 y/o grandson loves it!! we can take it to the park with multiple batteries that I have for my craftsman tools. when 1 battery runs low, I have another ready to go in the bag. Added note : this requires some electrical wiring knowledge. there are no directions so i used the picture from the advertisement as my guide. i did not use the stock 6V radio and Lights. I added some 12V car light bulbs and wired in a 12V amplifier and speaks for a mini mp3. The bus has (2) 12V motors, 1 on each back wheel. I bought a car horn at the local salvage yard, works great.

Just re-wired a car and when Hooked up to a 24v power supply the wires melted. Too bad I was really excited about this.

When our 24v peg perego RZR 800 burnt out its relay board this is what I purchased to replace it. This kit comes with a Weelye RX74 controller and all wires/switches. Has a nice “soft-start” feature to save the plastic tires. I bench-tested everything first with the kit switches, then rewired the system into the vehicle to use the factory pedal/switches. I see folks complaining about wire gauge, but found the motor gauges thicker than the factory motor wires. It is important to note big amperage travels only on the battery and motor wires, whereas the other small wires are “command” wires that open/close the relays. Advise you have knowledge and experience with DC circuits if purchasing!

I hooked it up works good. I converted the 24 down to 12v for the radio and lights. Using a makita 18v drill battery. Running good.

The media could not be loaded. Hey there!!So! One thing, this wire harness came with no instructions. But with the picture in the description, it’s definitely doable!!I used this harness and took my kids’ 6volt BMW car and converted it to take my 20v DEWALT batteries.Completely worth the money (so far)!!For the most part. It came with a plentiful amount of hookups. I did buy 2 24v motors and a 24v steering motor. And I did have to do some modification to both the steering motor and the wire harness in order to make everything fit. I spliced wires and in doing so, was able to get every feature on my car working. I even used the power switch that came with the harness to control the lighting, which I couldn’t do previously. This to me was definitely worth the money.
