The media could not be loaded. Β 2022-1018 * EditPros: (1) The wider deck is good for children; (2) the handlebars attach more securely than competitors with the lockdown mechanism; (3) comes with a strap; (4) plastic allows for slightly easier folding over competitors; (5) light brake is easier for children; (6) shock assists with bumps along with larger than avg wheel (i.e. trust me when I say you want larger wheels to go over bumpsβ¦.remember there is no air in those tires)Cons: (1) wide deck for an adult is less stable when over 150 lbs; (2) the shock helps with bumps but not with turning; (3) plastic locking mechanism; (4) kickstandβ¦like most scooters donβt work well (i.e. take a wrench and wrap it long ways and bend mount into best position.Overall, this is a nice scooter for the kids. I ride scooters a ton in the summer with my wife and the boys and this is my eldest sons favorite. I canβt give it 5 stars, but I couldnβt even do that for my A6 Lux Razor which I prefer because I’m taller. When comparing this with the A5 Lux with price, this will depend on what features you value more (e.g. wider deck or stability). The other scooter they carry is their best version: (1) it has a slimmer deck but is super stable. (2) locking mechanism is full on metal with a simple push button release that works smoothly; (3) kickstand worked out of the box; (4) “along with all but one other feature listed as pros” listed for the wide scooter above (5) the skinnier scooter is priced really well compared to the A5 Lux (i.e. at the moment this is cheaper). I have pics of both scooters I own.Whatever scooter you buy, as long as it has decent sized wheels, is always worth it. They fit well in the back of every car, you can take them on trip in a bag, and it is fun to cruz ; )******I had a customer service issue that was handled very well after I spoke with Amazon and an official Wayplus person through e-mail.******1st review with the wider deck for an adult (the kids like it)I wanted to like it.Pros: not to heavy, like the idea of a suspension, and it looks decent, brake was nice and lightCons: very understable, while turning can create opportunity for launch forward, not smooth steering, brake was too light for an adult, 2 different size wheels, front lock is plastic!?, deck feels like plastic because aluminum is so thin._________________________***EDIT 2022 0907 receiving e-mails to modify reviews is annoying, please switch to customer service reps like the one who responded to meI’ve now received dozens of e-mails from random e-mails to delete my review and get a credit from the seller. I shouldn’t have to delete my review to get a credit if they say their product is “always” improving. This part of my review is left up try and negate companies wishing to use these services despite being offered 30, 40, and finally 50 dollars to delete my review.*Note…I did have a decent conversation with both Amazon and Customer Support. Read review on why the slimmer scooters are better overall : )I tried to have a decent conversation with them, they sent back an auto text for deletion and how to delete. Honest conversation = I can help them improve their product and test for them etc (i.e. as I am an avid scooter rider once or twice a week with the kiddos).* Final Notethe features and current price of 80 dollars for the scooter, is worth the price. I do not feel the more expensive wider deck is worth more. Comparing it to razer, well, I can just say I would by the 80 dollar version of wayplus over that of the A5 lux. The A6 lux however, is my favorite due to its longer neck length for taller people (6 ft. plus).

UPDATE 9/29/22Seller reached out & offered a full refund or a replacement of a newer version scooter. As itβs almost winter where I am the scooter is no longer handy for me & I accepted the refund. I didnβt even request one initially as I was well past the return window. The seller went out of their way to rectify the situation & I GREATLY APPRECIATE THIS TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! THIS IS 5 STAR SERVICE!Old Review:It basically broke down.It wasnβt easy to put together. Thank goodness my dad was around. It still took him forever to figure out how to get it open. The directions arenβt clear about where it actually is.Brakes are nice. I rode it for about 2 weeks before I fell off once & it started going downhill from there. (No pun intended & no I didnβt fall down a hill, thankfully.) Once I fell off the first time on my ride home I didnβt realize it now doesnβt turn correctly & was crossing a street that required me to do an abrupt turn onto the sidewalk. The turn threw me off the scooter & I twisted my ankle. I had to get an air brace & couldnβt walk on it for 3 days. This was back in May & I still have pain in August & have to wear my brace.Anyways, I had to ride my scooter to work on the weekends so after 3 weeks I have no choice but be back on it. About 2 weeks in Iβm on my way home from work & I just feel something different about the ride. I stop and get off and realize the screw in the front wheel has came out and I trace my steps all the way back to my job and canβt find it.Canβt ride a scooter without the front wheel. It was great while it lasted. I think the curb did damage to it that took time to show itself.

got this so I could go ride with my boys, opened it up and tried to adjust the bar and the little button you push it to adjust popped out. I ended up putting a screw in to hold it in place but its wobbly. I probably should have just sent it back but my kids were waiting so we could go ride together. overall it could of been great. it is working but cant be adjusted and my 7 year old really wants to ride it. still debating if i should just order another and send this one back. I do love the big wheels, its fast and rides well on many surfaces

This scooter comes with a bag of allen wrenches: use them. Check every wrenchable fitting making sure they all tight. Read the manual. Familiarize yourself with all components, understand how they work. Tighten the handle fastener, if there is still slop in the handlebar, tighten it some more. There is a bumper associated with the folding mechanism, on mine it is not deep enough leading to looseness. I took a small piece of bicycle handlebar wrap and taped it with electrical tape to the bumper giving it more depth. Now no looseness or rattles anywhere; I like this scooter, I especially like the long deck. Hey, I’m 85 and never rode a scooter since I was ten when what we called a scooter was a two by four with half a skate nailed to each end and a two foot handlebar stick nailed to a fruit box on the front end. Takes me back.

We bought this for our college daughter. It has saved her a lot of time from car to class, class to class. She weighs 115 lbs. and loves it! She did have an issue with it. She heard a noise and said something didn’t feel right with the front wheel. She had it for just over two months. I wrote to the company, and within a week, they sent a new one out to her!! I was not expecting this, I was thinking of just a discount on another one. I’m very pleased with this company, and would order from them again! I recommend this scooter :)Rose R. π

I ordered this for my adult nephew to help him get around his college campus faster. After a month he’d sheared off the rear wheel. After contacting Wayplus to purchase replacement parts they offered to replace the scooter for free. They were responsive to all my questions and very helpful. Would definitely purchase from them again!
