I am going to write this review in comparison to ride-share scooters, specifically LINK.After moving to a large city from the rural, I started exploring different modes of transportation I had never used before and found I really enjoyed the electric scooters, my experience with electric scooters is only with the ride share electric scooters and I am a novice. To start with assembly was easy. There was very little assembly. Most of it was together when it arrived and you just screwed a few things into place. Two big noticable difference from the start, the deck is shorter so I have less option on how to position my feet. I have small feet (size 6 women’s) so this may be an issue for people with larger feet but it isn’t for me. And the center of gravity is noticably higher. I am short, so it also doesn’t bother me that much but may bother someone who is taller. All in all, in comparison, I would say this is pretty good!!My main concern was my ride back home, which is uphill with my weight. I am plus size and weight about 250lbs, which is more than most scooters list as their limit. This scooter says it can handle up to 320 lbs. And going uphill, with my weight, on the fastest setting, it still got up to 9mph. Yes, the link scooter for sure went faster uphill. But I was MORE than pleased with this!On my way to work I was in second gear and coasted down the hill at about 10mph, which I was also happy with. (And tomorrow I may try going at a faster speed, who knows)I really like the wheels and despite them not being air filled found that my fairly bumpy ride was smoother than that of the LINK scooters.I also really like that it comes with a headlight (which I haven’t formally tested yet) and a bell (Which I will probably never use because I will forget, but it is there!)It did come with a cellphone/water bottle holder. But it was really cheap and despite tightening as tight as it would go, didn’t actually hold anything, so I just took it back off.I also am not a big fan of the cruise control system and it makes the break system worse for me, making the break system the biggest overall negative. It only breaks on the front tire. And I preferred to coast to a stop when possible, but between the cruise control which just seems to surprise me by being on and the front only break option, I feel like breaking is very abrupt. It may be user error and I may work it out, but I don’t like it as of now.And lastly. The app doesn’t work, don’t bother with it. But luckily you don’t need it to use the scooterAll in all, for the price I am VERY happy. It does the job well for a discount scooter without breaking the bank! And if you are a plus size, short person with small feet like me this works great for you!

I was drawn to this scooter as it’s one of the only in this price range that boasts a 300+ carrying capacity, and being 240 with a 30lb, 20lb and 60lb child, I wanted something that would hold up. The frame is extremely sturdy, and so is the deck. The rear fender seems to be the only thing I wonder would withstand a hit, the handlebars were also very sturdy. Now, onto the ride. It’s a bit rough and one of my biggest gripes is that there is no front or rear shock to dampen the road bumpiness, I feel this would have made this the ultimate scooter for under 500. The tires are also only 8.5” which will not protect you from much more than a sidewalk crack or small rock, I’d prefer to have 10” tires to feel a bit safer and to take it off road if I had to. It does go through the grass somewhat effectively. The speed is pretty amazing! Let me say, if you have never ridden an electric scooter, 17mph is absolutely terrifying! I found myself much more comfortable in the 11-13mph range because beyond 15mph, it gets a bit squirrelly and more difficult to handle. When using full throttle (which wasn’t very often), I averaged speeds of 14-16, maxing out at 17 mph. I am 240 lbs , so I’m rather positive this would top out in the 18-19mph range if I were 180 lbs. I’ve only ridden for a few hours but both times I took it out there was barely any battery depletion. The headlight is very bright and the brake light is a nice safety touch for riding in the evening. I got this scooter because my children all wanted an electric scooter so this was a fun way to be engaged and have fun with them while supervising. I may throw an rgb led light under the deck so it matches my kids scooters which have a lot of lights on them. All in all I love the scooter, the folding works amazing , and the cup holder is nice. However I do find myself wanting to upgrade to a 10” wheel 500w motor scooter.

any form of rain will damage the scooter. i left it in a drizzle for a few minutes when i went to run inside a store to get something. It worked fine and i thought nothing off it, but the following day it didnt turn on, and since the warranty void sticker is in a stupid place and fell off from nothing i had no warranty to deal with. I opened the scooter and it was full of rain. but if you want a cheap scooter and can solder things I will say get it. its only $20 to replace all the electronics inside it, but all i had to do was dry out the inside and its working just as new… other then that its powerful enough to pull me around at 18 mph and i am not skinny, other scooters struggle to get me up to over 10 mph.

For the price, under $300 at the time, I can’t complain. I wish there was an instruction manual included as there are accessories and things that come with it that I’m not sure where to install. I’m 6′ 250lbs and other than steep hills that I expected to give trouble, it’s a beast. I was able to cruise on flat asphalt at 15mph and hit 18 going down hill. It’s more than capable for being my Dadillac around the neighborhood!
