I bought this scooter because I get tired easily when walking too much and I suffer from back pain that hurts more when walking. The scooter supports my weight well and the height is perfect. I’m 23 and approximately 5’6″ with a weight of 165 lbs. I like everything except for the kickstand. It doesn’t support the scooter all that well on its own and especially when I have a simple strapped bag on the center to hold my belongings. I have to stuggle finding the right positioning to keep it standing on its own or give up and use something else like a wall to keep it up.Other than that, it’s a great scooter for quick commute and isn’t super bulky, allowing me to ride the bus with it without having to close it. In the case that I do have to fold it, it’s very easy to carry but it’s a little tricky to fold and unfold for me still…Lastly, the bigger wheels make me feel confident when riding on slightly bumpier ground, but I’m still riding with precautions to prevent any accidents/breakage. On perfect ground it rides smoothly and is fun and easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. ย Okay. I pretty much bought the Razor A6 on a lark. I’m on a road trip, and I keep seeing little kids zooming around the campgrounds on their Razor scooters. I like to hike on trails, but I hate walking long distances on pavement, so I start thinking “I’m going to get me one of those.”A little research later and I’m the proud owner of a brand new A6. Never owned or ridden any kind of scooter before. Never skateboarded or longboarded or rollerbladed either. I don’t even like bicycles. But after just a few minutes on my Razor, I’m right at home. Fellow campers are complimenting me on how I handle it and I’m like “thanks, I just got it today!”So it’s easy to learn, it turns heads, and it’s an absolute hoot to ride, especially on smooth pavement with a tail wind or slight downhill grade. Steep downhill is scary (brake barely functions) and rough pavement makes the rider miserable (your leg is the shock absorber). Wet pavement is iffy (barely functional brake becomes non-functional). Forget about dirt and gravel surfaces, and watch out for the same scattered on pavement. Good way to wipe out. Haven’t done that yet, but constant vigilance is required. All that being said, not only is this thing loads of fun, but it is in fact a highly practical way to get around large, paved, level areas. I didn’t fully grasp the utility of the kick scooter until I used it to explore downtown Nashville. I traveled much, much faster than I would have on foot. When I wanted to duck into a shop or eatery, I just folded the Razor up and carried it with me. Sure, Nashville is lousy with pay-per-mile electric scooters, just like every other big city, but mine is free, it goes anywhere, I never have to charge it, and I get some exercise when I’m on it. Plus the Razor brand seems to have some cachรฉ with the youth. I got friendly words of recognition around town. When I was done, I folded up the scooter and stowed it in the back of my Volkswagen Golf. That’s another area where this product shines: it is quite compact when folded. It fits nicely between my cooler and the car’s hatch. I rubber band the handlebars together to keep them from flailing around, but otherwise it is well behaved when the car is in motion.Long story short, I expected a fun toy but got a surprisingly useful means of transportation… that is also fun. To all the other grown men and women out there: yes, they make these for us too, and, like me, you’ll probably enjoy riding one. Go for it.

The large wheels and excellent bearings make for a great riding scooter that is not made for tricks, but distance.

I recently bought one of these for my 19-year old son who just headed off to college. He uses it to get around campus, go to/from baseball practice and weights, grab food on the go, etc. He said it works perfect and absolutely loves it!!!

My granddaughter wanted a skooter that would support her weight and something durable too. She is rough and needed a tougher and stronger skooter. Toy skooters do not last long with her and she gets so dissappointed by copycats.

In August, my car started developing a few major problems that would have costed thousands in repairs, and it wouldn’t have been worth it to fix them. I needed to find alternate transportation to work.I bought a bike from Walmart and tried riding it a few times. The routes that I would have to take with a bike resulted in being a very strenuous ride. I ended up returning the bike.I have a small child size razor scooter that I took a few times, allowing me to take shortcuts and easily foldable for parts where I would need to walk.Got made fun of a few times using the small one so I looked into getting a better scooter for my size.I bought this scooter and am really happy with how it performs and I’m not hunching over to grab onto the Handles. The bigger wheels definitely give a smoother ride over the small wheels on the child scooter. Most of my commutes are in the morning and it’s dark, so I just added a bike flashlight on the Handles and a red “brake light” bike light on the back of my backpack. My only gripe is the folding mechanism isn’t as simple as the child scooter where you just push down on the lever and it folds. There is a knob on the bottom of the shaft that has to screw in/out and be pulled upwards in order for the user to fold/unfold. I have found a good system for quickly folding it for myself now, but wish it was a little more simple.Overall This was a great purchase. I didn’t want to rely on electric scooters and wanted to go as cheap as possible to same some money while I didn’t have a car. No gas, insurance, financing, etc.Walking commute -1 Hour 20 MinutesBike Commute – about 1 Hour but very strenuous. This scooter – 40 Minutes, the lightness and foldability to allow me to take shortcuts through fields and other places I cannot pass through with a bike.
