I have a couple of rides on for my 13 months son. (Photo attached to compare the true size). This one is perfect for my 13 months son to ride. The ride-on car is a bit bigger for him now. I will say the train size is in between the car and the bicycle. My son loves trains these days and this is perfect for him. It also includes a nice track.ProsGreat ride-on compared with others (One of the best ride-on I have for 13 months)The track is nice to keep your kids in the areaEasy to assemble (5min)Doesn’t look cheap and cute designConI am not sure for 4 years still keep them on track. I can imagine that age it will go off the track

I ordered this Little Tikes train for my son, who is almost 4. I think this train is better suited for younger children around the ages of 2-3, but my son is still having a lot of fun with it. He loves trains, so I knew he would be excited to get this. He has been riding it all over our house. If your child is just learning to walk, they can hold onto the bar in the back and push it. Then when they are a little older, they can sit on the train and scoot it along the floor or around the included train track. So if you buy this before your child turns 2, they could use it for a few years before they outgrow it.

For the price it’s currently $100 but the Cozy Coup cars are something like $65 new on Amazon. The product was a perfect gift for our 2 y/o twins on their birthday. They love trains and riding around on cars and trucks about this size. The assembly was super easy as you just need to firmly press in the back handle and the cap to the smoke stack and then just tracks if you want to assemble those. My kids were entertained off and on all day for their birthday and had minimal issue. I don’t know their height but they are close in height and 1 kid scoots around with ease while the other was able to sit off-center a bit to give more footing on their leg on the outside of the track. For the price I feel the track could have been a bit more firm and higher quality. It works well on our wooden floors with a non-plush area rug. But I know this won’t work in grass and perhaps on very plush carpeting the tracks are thin and likely going to bend and buckle some as the train rides atop them. So just be aware of that. My kids had no issues though scooting around the floors off the track.I am not sure how well a 1 y/o would do with this. The handle on the back may afford them abilities to push it around on the floor without using the track if they aren’t fully acclimated with walking independently. All in all a solid product. Just be ready for the space if you setup the track. It’s a quick setup though! If the track were more firm or deeper grooved by a little to keep the train on better I think it’d be 5/5. But I could imagine if they made the track much higher it could become more fickle with a kiddo speeding around in the circle to have a more dangerous derail. When our kids ran it off the track it was not causing the train to wobble too much to toss them off or anything concerning.

I got this Little Tikesยฎ Cozy Train Scoot Ride-On with Track for my 1 and 3 year olds, both are close to turning 2 and 4 respectively. Assembly was easy and only took a few minutes, though obviously it does take up a lot of space for the track.I really like the โtrainโ itself, itโs built perfectly for 2-4 year olds, though even my 6 year old was able to still sit on it and move it around.I do think they could have done more with the track, maybe make the train motorized for the track only or something like that. I mean since the track isnโt really necessarily I ended up putting the track away after only a week and havenโt brought it out since. So I definitely feel like more could have been done with the track. But overall the kids have been having lots of fun with the train itself.

My two year old niece likes this train. The track is easy to set up and take down. The train can be pushed from behind or pushed along using one foot on either side while the toddler is sitting on it. My niece likes it best when someone is pushing her (of course) but she still has fun scooting along on her own with it.

The media could not be loaded. ย If you have hard floors, and only want the circle, then this works… but it’s a huge missed opportunity for a toy.The train tracks will only lock in one direction – you can only make a circle, you can’t make a squiggly line or attach more tracks later. This is absurd – every other train track I have encountered like this has opposing locks so that you can attach them from either end. Who wouldn’t want the option to get more tracks later? It also won’t work on carpet or softer ground. The back of the train has a plastic piece that sits very low to the ground, so when any weight is put on the train, it pushes into the track and stops it from moving. Even without sitting on the tracks, it won’t go on carpet. This is a poorly designed toy. I don’t see any reason to buy this over competing designs which have expansion sets for tracks available, are built better, have more accessories on them, and don’t have stickers falling off (like this one). For $100, this is a rip off.

Bought for my daycare kids. My only complaint is they do not sell an extra train. I would love if there were two on the track. Itโs sturdy. Kids love it. But itโs hard to not have an extra train.
