The age recommendation is 3-12 but I’d say more so 3-5 years. The handles doesn’t fully move the wheels, so It can’t do anything more than a wide turn. You just lean it one way or the other and the wheels move a bit. This is my sons first scooter so it works well enough, but I think he would have gotten a regular movement one just fine and it would last longer. I’m concerned about the longevity of it due to this. Good thing is I’m pregnant with a second kid so it’ll come in use more if my older one gets bored with it. I love that the wheels light up and that it’s small enough for inside and outside use. I just wish it had a bit more mobility.

Bought this scooter for my 3 year old grandson. It took a couple of minutes to assemble and he rode it right away. He loved the lights that illuminate when your moving. I would definitely recommend this product.

Our toddler grandson’s eyes always lit up when he saw other children with scooters, so I ordered this one for his 4th birthday. He was thrilled to get it. The scooter is sturdy, easy to assemble, and is attractive, with several color choices. The 3-wheel design makes it more stable, and the light-up wheels make is super fun! The handle bar is adjustable for height. It has a footbrake! It rolls nicely. We couldn’t be happier!
