My wife and I are grandparents and we were happy to review this sturdy little scooter board from VINE. We have seen scooter boards in preschools and elementary schools used to encourage movement and coordination. They’re clearly both popular and serve a real purpose. And this board is exactly as the product photos show on the Amazon page: rugged and ready for lots of use.We want to add a couple of tips, though: While the product says it is designed for kids aged 6 to 10, it’s obvious on the product page that the company shows a young preschooler using the board and encourages even younger children to use it. We agree that, with supervision, that might be fun. However, leaving this scooter out in a room with toddlers is not a good idea. The first thing a 2 year old wants to do is to step on it and we can tell you from testing this that they’ll fall over. Boom. Crying. And we’re sure that’s why the main description on the product page encourages the use of this by older kids. There’s definitely a mixed message on the product page and we’re telling other parents and grandparents: It’s not a good idea to leave this out with the youngest children. Then, second, when we’ve seen these scooter boards used elsewhere, they’re often shaped a bit differently to contour with a child’s body. The ones we’ve seen are often more rectangular, or curved. This is a flat square. Might make you want to shop a little further to see other options. Finally, we will add one other tip: Because this scooter board is a completely flat square, I thought it might work well in the garage. I actually tried this scooterboard in our garage to help me wheel a heavy box to another area where I wanted to store it. Worked like a charm! Clearly there are other more purpose-designed products for around-the-home hauling, but it’s nice to know there are other uses for this scooter. All in all, we are happy to give this 5 stars for its durable construction.

This was hands down my favorite thing to do in gym growing up. I was so excited to order this and it has not disappointed. My husband and I, as well as our 4 and 7 year old boys have all taken turns playing around on it. The limit is 135 lbs, but it is able to move with more weight (although I wouldnβt tempt fate too much on that front). It easily turns in circles and moves in all directions. You can sit on it and hold the handles or even lay on your stomach on it, just make sure your fingers stay clear of the wheels. My kids havenβt had any issues with that yet, and if I remember correctly, it was more of an issue when there were more scooter boarders in the mix. In two days it has already seen more play than the balance board and is quickly surpassing the mini trampoline. Totally worth the price; go for it.

My son was suffering from the βstuck insideβ winter blues so he snuck into the attached garage, got out his scooter and was riding it around the house. He kept running into things so we had to put it back in the garage and told him that was for outside only. He was quite sad so we got this so he could still roll around the house. My son is about 80 lbs and it has had no issues supporting him. He complained that it did not roll well at first but maybe it loosened up or he just learned how to use it because he rolls around fine on it now.It is smaller than some of the images imply compared to the size of the children, check the picture with the dimensions for an accurate size. The construction: the wheels are on metal hardware. The plastic body feels strong and it is structurally well supported. It is priced appropriately for the quality.

These slide easily and smooth across wood floors and keeps my kids having fun. Along with this I got another one so they can race across the floor. They happened to have a great time but if Iβm being honest I donβt think itβs made for older kids just based on size. My 3 year old fits it perfectly but my 7 year (luckily the other one I got was much bigger) was not able to fully enjoy it because it too small for him to lay on or sit on. So I donβt recommend for bigger kids but maybe just for kids under 6 depending on size, though both my kids are definitely on the slim size.

Both my kids, ages 2 and 4, love this scooter board. They ride it all around our tiled floor and it keeps them busy for awhile. We have both large and small tiles and it glides over both with ease. It doesn’t leave any marks on the floor or walls. I really like seeing the different ways they use the scooter board, using their imaginations and creativity. A favorite game is to tie a rope on a door handle and push off the door and then pull themselves back to do it again. It seems sturdy enough, I was able to sit on it (145 pounds) and it didn’t break.

This is the perfect scooter board. It is very well balanced. I have another scooter board from a different brand and minor weight shifts will cause it to tip. This one does not do that. You certainly can’t expect to sit on the very tip of the edge of it, but you do not need to be perfectly centered to keep balanced. The top surface of the board is not polished with a slippery smooth finish. However, I prefer that the plastic on top is a little more grippy rather than smooth like other brands. You don’t want to be sliding off the top too easy, so just a little bit of resistance without it being too noticeable or uncomfortable is perfect. This one achieves that balance well. The wheels also roll more smoothly and change direction more easily than other boards. As an adult I am able to lay on my stomach on top of it, putting my full weight on the board, use my arms and legs to propel myself, and the wheels respond just as smoothly. My young kids have a blast on these. And I know they’re getting some great core control work in there at the same time.

These are fantastic. At first it doesnβt look like anything special. But after use after use I realize how durable this is. I can see preschools or schools using this for their outdoor activities. Holds a lot of weight and it does not way to patch that my toddlers carry around

A little on the small side for my large 7 year old, but he loves it anyway. Very durable and has not scratched or scuffed my laminate at all.
