I really like the overall design & build quality. The lighting system well done with a nice bright headlight, red side runner lights on both sides & a rear light on the tail fender. The built in fenders are nice inclusion. The mechanical disk brake was properly adjusted & works great. The front electronic regeneration red button system works fantastically, modulates nice & smooth & there is really no need to use the rear disc brake in most situations. The coolest feature is the cruise control, that you turn on in the app, then if you hold the throttle at the same speed for 5 seconds it will beep & show a steering wheel on the display the indicates you have accessed cruise control, that way you do not have to hold down the thumb throttle to cruise longer distance or on longer rides. You can also use the app settings to make it go from a stop with the thumb switch throttle, the first thing I changed in the app. The app is well developed too, seems to pair with my iPhone quickly & has quick intuitive access to all the adjustable functions! There is some German mixed in with the English lol ๐ I wish it had better hill performance, thinking that 500w would be enough, and it can make it up the small relatively steep hill in the entry of our complex at 4-7 mph at full throttle with me at 170 lbs + clothing & gear, so if you are smaller or lighter I am sure it will work even better! For big hill climbing or off road, you need to get a scooter with 800w in both wheels, bigger tires, full suspension, this is a paved surface queen that rides smooth as butter on smooth roadways but translates any surface irregularity into wrist pounding vibrations, or has excellence feedback if thats a positive with you! I think this would be fantastic in a flat local with lots of smooth paved paths & trails. The rear suspension seems a little stiff from the factor, but is also thankfully adjustable. Putting the handlebar together out of the box took about 5 minutes. I let it fully charge to 100% until the charger light turned green before using it. I went fast for a few miles making the same loop out of my neighborhood, down the local main road, left on the wood bridges, back past the Kubota dealer, down the road the runs behind the local storage complex, up the wooden elevated walking path & back to the walkways in our housing complex & it went as fast as I would ever want to go on something with steering that twitchy or sensitive. Its more thrilling, faster & less stabile than the Segway miniPro we have been riding for 6+ years! I like it overall, but would love it if it had front suspension, and better hill climbing! Great overall value for what you are getting. Its bigger than I though it would be and at 36 lbs, I am glad it is not any heavier. I carried it up a couple flights of stairs & its at that mass level where most people would not want to lift anything heavier into their trunk. This is part of the reason I went with the S2 Pro, it had just enough performance, was just light enough, striking a balance between cost, mass & performance. The scooters with 2 motors & higher speed also cost 2x more & weight about 2x as much, so I hope that makes sense! I wish it came with a better higher speed or more powerful charger too, since the charging takes many hours!

Got it while on sale with coupon for $595. Good value for the money. Never owned or rode a scooter before.Feel like its a good value for the price.Pros:no flat tires, zero start if using the app.Can adjust how fast your scooter accelerates, or stops in the app.Can adjust top speed and cruise control speed.App is very user friendly. Like the option that you can still use the scooter without downloading the app.(some limitations without the app. )Enough space for your feet if you want to ride standing up, even with the seat.I had it for 1 week but it gives you a feel like it is made to last.Fun to ride.Cons:You can feel every crack in the concrete due to solid tires (which i expected to happen before i purchased it).The seat it comes with not very comfortable. Bought an oversized seat from wallmart and foam seat cover for an extra $50. Ride after that feels much smoother.I am 220 pounds and on flat surface in comfort mode can get about 14 miles per charge. I wish it was a little closer to 25 miles as advertised.Overall give it 5 stars. Very impressed with how it is made and rides. Just wish that actual mileage per charge would be closer to that they advertise.

Gave it all 5โs because I think it deserves it. Iโm not real sure about commuting thing however my hubby has one also and has taken his out probably about 10 miles ish. I donโt think I would chance ever going far without having the battery with me. We also have the large waterproof case for them. And I have a pack for the back of mine. He stands. I sit on mine. They hit about 19 mph. The speed locks in when you keep it at the same speed for a few seconds. I believe I read at 20 mph you need to register them so you donโt have to on this. Iโm in NJ so check you state. You do have to turn wide I go slow on my turns. We got the hard wheels which you feel bumps more but at least you donโt have to worry about getting a flat.
