I need the extra wide standing deck and 3 wheels for my balance. This scooter weighs about 50 lbs and extra long. The speed is perfect for me going 15-16 mph tops. The battery life is great – I usually go about 6 or 7 miles and might burn 1 battery bar a ride. I think my style of riding I could get 20-25 miles per full charge. The internal combo cable lock is a nice bonus. This scooter does not use an app on your smart phone. It requires you to create a pin # to start. If the wheels are turned or pushed before the pin is enter an audible tone will go off (not loud like a car alarm). Has a solid ring on the front for locking it with a heavy u-lock or chain. Hand brakes are disc – left is rear tires / right is front tire. No kick stand – you can lock the hand brakes. (which is nice when you put it in the back of your car or truck so it is not rolling around) Good headlight and blinking rear brake light. Has nice pick up and stops on a dime.I weigh 225 lbs and at 6’2″ this scooter is perfect size for me.The only complaint I get from family for GOTRAX scooters is the cruise control feature. Everyone who rides this one or my other 2 wheeled does not like the automatic activation of cruise control. This scooter has an expensive price tag. But so far it is the only one I can ride and really enjoy. My family owns a Segway Ninebot Max G30P, Hiboy S2 Pro, GOTRAX Apex, MacWheel E9 and this GOTRAX G Pro. The Segway and Hiboy are faster but this one is easier to ride if you have balance problems.I would buy this one again if something happens to the one I have. Super fun!UPDATED: August 2022I have owned this scooter for over a year now and I still think it is a great buy. No problems and super fun.

It works great. Fits my use case 100% so it is awesome if you know what you are getting into.Built like a tank. Maneuvers a little heavily but that is appreciated since I’m not in it for the thrills, but rather for a comfy, convenient 2 mile ride to work and back. Its pretty heavy, which can be a problem if you need to haul it anywhere more than a few steps. But that also helps it feel safe and substantial on the road. I’ve used a few of the rental options and sometimes they can feel flimsy and insecure. Not this big boy.Only other potential drawback is the short range. I doubt that I could get even 12 miles on one charge. My commute is 2 miles each way, and by the second day back its uncomfortably hitting the last charge bar (so around 25%) which means I wouldn’t want to be too far away from an outlet by then. So I definitely need to charge at least every other night, which seems not much for such a short trip of mine. But, its heavy and so am I so, I guess that is energy expensive. Plus my route does have a number of inclines up and down so, also consuming on getting those climbs.Recommend 100% if you want to commute for a short distance and don’t need to haul it up stairs or get it into trains.

I am writing these after using this scooter for over a monthHonestly, it does seem a little bit heavy for a girl under 1.6 meter. But I don’t need to move it from downstairs to upstairs or upstairs to downstairs. I just need to push it out of the garage so it’s not a problem at all.I have bad balance, that’s why I chose 3 wheels.I was pleasantly surprised by the stability of this scooter.I need to go to school or work by this scooter several times a day .The battery is very durable, I only need recharge it after a few days of use.I’ve been using it to go around the city lately, it’s been a wonderful experienceGreat find and purchase for me. I would recommend.

Bought one of these after experiencing a knee injury. Needed a scooter I could use at a slow pace while riding next to my wife during our nighly 5-mile walks. The 2-wheel scooters didn’t have stability at this slow pace whereas this 3-wheeler does with ease. The cruise control at any speed above 2mph is a really useful feature. The scooter has two-speed settings L1=1-9mph and L2=1-15mph. I ride mainly at L1 and get about 10-15 miles on a charge. We like the scooter so much, we bought a second one and plan to use these to make local runs around town (south miami and coral gables) and when we take weekend trips around FL, makes getting around so easy.

Got this scooter for my wife who was worried about her balance. She told me she road a bike a few times a long time ago but forgot how. After getting on the scooter within 10 minutes she was comfortable enough to do a 2 mile mile ride with me. Definitely recommend this for a casual rider who just wants to cruise and smile!

Wanted a three wheeled one so that I didn’t have to try so hard at balancing it. However, due to the springs in the back, it’s just about as hard as a two wheeled one. Should have just saved the extra money and bought a lighter weighted two wheeled one.

The media could not be loaded. Stable. 3 wheels option definitely is a winner. I am not that balance guy but it just works for me even if I stop. Same for my son he lives this one more then 2 wheels scooter he got. And wide platform actually fits both of us. So if you are afraid of 2 wheels and have balance issues this one if for you for sure. I mostly use it in a community and don’t use anti thief features but I believe PIN and the lock won’t be superfluous.

We live in a great spot where you can walk to many shops and restaurants as well as businesses. Walking takes time which is limited so having this scooter to run quick errands and taking to dinner at night where you don’t want to fight for parking or pay, this scooter has changed our life. We’ve also taken them to Key West for the weekend, easy to transport and charge lasted all day exploring the island.
