So, to start this, you have to kick a few times until the speed reaches 1.9 mph while pushing the red button, then the motor kicks in. when i say kicks in, i mean kicks in. there is a definite jolt that catches you off guard the first time. this is for my 68 lbs 6-year-old, and it is perfect for her. the adjustable height is easy to operate, and she was able to catch on quickly to riding and steering it. my 37 lbs 5-year-old struggled steering, and my 128 lbs 10-year-old is able to ride it without a problem. i am 220 and tested it out, it moved, i wouldn’t try riding it for real though. it handles bumps well, but definitely made for the sidewalk or pavement. it charges quickly and lasts quite a while. we rode around a park walking trail for 30 minutes and have been playing around the house on it for 3 days now off of 1 charge.

This was a lifesaver— I have a 7yo who is very tentative about scooters and bikes. School is too far to walk in time and it is beastly hot for kick scooter so we have been stuck in the car line which is just hours of wasted time a week (not to mention gas). My whole family was unhappy with him and the we found this scooter. The three wheels makes him feel more stable and he has easy control over the electric. They are now able to take scooters to school and everyone is happy and he is proud of himself too, which helps him all around be less tentative. This scooter has been amazing. Even the 13 yr old helped his little brother by directing him?, was fun watching them two. Remember, this scooter requires leaning to steer.Anyhow, the owner is very customer service receptive and this company is thoughtful when given feedback.My 7yr old is still learning as 5mph is fast for him. We never really got to push the battery for how long it last, as my little one doesn’t stay on it long. I wish there where more colors is my only opinion, quality is shown in the scooter. I bought a little light that is bright but it is colorful with its own lights. Have fun and be safe with protective gear. Thank you.

I had a bad feeling about this item but my 6 year old is very cautious when it comes to scooters and bikes. Out of box looks good but this is either a defective product or a hunk of worthless plastic. When you hit the red button make a very loud noise which does not seem right. Going to spend a portion of the day going back and forth with customer service to see what is wrong or if we got a bad scooter.

This was a purchase made for my 6 year old grandson. He really enjoys the electric scooter and it charges quickly. Good idea to wear head protection when riding, which he is doing 🙂 He is having loads of fun.
